28.02 Monday Morning Kick-Off Links: Bulgarian Oscars, Creepy Future, Architecture

(Cover – a snapshot from Dentsu Digital Camp. Food of thought?)

Yesterday Samsung aired a new commercial at the Oscars featuring Casey Neistat talking about the makers and the creators of this generation. Meh commercial, but in the mix of viral videos at the end  I spotted Ilko Illiev’s 2D run. Pretty good Bulgarian presence at the Academy awards this year after Blind Vaysha and Chaos Group!

Facebook is terrifying – a creepy article on Medium.

A warning from Bill Gates, Elon Musk, and Stephen Hawking – can automation cause mass unemployment sooner than we think? (Spoiler: yes, it can)

Advertising: An interesting course work by two Bulgarian design students at the Universität für angewandte Kunst Wien. I enjoyed both the concept and the execution.

Whata awards 2017 – One of Bulgaria’s most adequate architecture organisations and their annual “awards” sum up all the things non-architects should know about what’s happening with architecture in Bulgaria.

Tomorrow we’re launching Victus Game’s Season II and I’m really excited about that. If you wish to contribute to my cause, you may spread the word, come play and give feedback or just send us some good thoughts.

Have a creative week!
